Hey,

So I got a hold of an iPhone 4s and linked up my Gmail account so that I would have my contacts. It pulled around 300 contacts down, which I think is about right, but only SOME of them have phone numbers, and most do not even though they have phone numbers when I log on to the gmail website and look. I can not find any pattern to this and i have tried deleting the exchange account and grabbing it new. It did not help.

Any suggestions?

Try deleting the gmail account (exchange) and re-adding it.

SOLVED!

It turns out that if you label numbers in Google's interface, the numbers wont pass to the iPhone. So for example for my vet's office we have a main line, and an emergency line. The line labeled "main" passed to the iPhone fine, but the line labeled "emergency" did not. Basically you have to stick to the few generic labels, then all works fine.
