Not all Mac's iCloud ready

Could someone help explain what I do when not all my Mac equipment is ready for iCloud. I have an old iMac and3G phone which cant be used with icloud and a Macbook and Ipad2 which can. If I switch on iCloud how do I sync my older Macs. I am subscribed to MobileMe which I sync with at the moment but need to sort it out before it stops, Thanks

Best thing to do will be to either sync them with another service (Google for example), sort them, then sync with iCloud, or copy them manually/use the export and import features if available.
