Hello! I've had my new macbook for 1 month and I am really enjoying it! It's been perfect for all my uses! (even gaming, lol! CS, AA, DOD) Well, now comes a weird question..... How come some people are experiencing problems with battery health while mine (knocks wood) stays at a healthy 100% and my mAH went from 5200 to 5431? Thank you for your comments! :D

There is a 2 year performance watch on the batt , so if it hits a mAH less than 50% you could get it replaced!

I've never had a laptop before so I know nothing about battery stuff. I take it that once your battery health goes down, it can't ever come back up?

pretty much true, but as your battery gets older and ur running at about 10minute left the health might drop,. but then once u charge it again itl run back up. the battery health only referrs to how much ampage u have compared to your original numbers. (u can check this in system prolifer)

yea thats pretty normal. it will waver around a lot, often sometimes having deviations of 10%. once it goes below 60%-65% tho, thats when u worry

Thats very true. You see here my year old battery with 70 cycles on it that has not gone below 100% ... yet. It has wavered around a bit though as you can see.
