bottom of the page states the device will not or may not even be sold if not approved by the fcc.

"Until approved".

Just says you aren't allowed to offer it publicly UNTIL approval is done.

Same thing for every product in the U.S. with wireless functions

Just replace the words "may not be" with the words, "is not allowed to be" in the disclaimer so you understand it better.

Is there any chance to iPad have something modified? Maybe more battery, maybe a webcam, maybe an unicorn (like it was requested)?

I realise this incredibly unlikely, like you say, a non-issue really, but FCC approval is solely for the US right? Theoretically if there were FCC issues they could still sell internationally couldn't they? I realise this wouldn't happen I'm just curious as to whether I understand right?
