Hey!
When using the safari internet browser, when I try to view some sites, it comes up with, 'You are not connected to the internet'. Whe this happens, I must click the network diagnostics option, and wait till it gets better. It never used to do this. How do I stop it? Thanks in advance.

There are so many things that can cause that that we can't help you much with the given information.

However, 90% of the time that error means that there is a problem with your internet connection, not your computer.

To help us help you, please answer the following questions the best you can:

-How long does it take to fix?
-When you click network diagnostic there is a is a list of things with a colored dot next to them on the left side. Which ones have what color? More importantly, what is the first one that has yellow or red? If they change color after a while, tell us how they start.
-What kind of internet connection do you have? cable, dsl, dialup? Essentially, who do you pay to get internet.
-How do you get the connection from the modem to your computer? Is the modem directly connected to the computer? Does it go through a router (this is the case if you have multiple computers in the house).
-Are you using ethernet or airport?
-Do other things that require internet, such as IM, continue to work during this time or does everything get cut off?

That is what I can think of now. With those answers we should be able to do a lot more to help you.

Have you always had this problem?

Do you use wireless to connect to the Internet?

Are you on broadband and use a router at home?

-Normally takes about 10-15 seconds to fix
-The two bottom ones are red, and then after 10 seconds or so, they change back to green
-I use airport, but have just realised I have ethernet connected to Mac as well. I also ue a wireless router.
-Airport
- Sometimes ITUNES will not connect to music store

Ok, first, try turning off airport or unplugging the ethernet cable so that you are only connected in one way.

If that doesn't fix it reverse the connections so you connect the other way.

If that still doesn't fix it, try resetting your router by unplugging it for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in.

If that doesn't work, contact your internet service provider, they may be having some problems on their end.

Sounds like a problem with your internet connection, it does that to me at University (not at home) as we have a rubbish internet connection there, it's not your Mac as it's making a local connection as only the bottom two are red, which means it cannot connect to the Internet and is probably your router/broadband connection, check your router isn't timing out or something. Otherwise it's likely to be your ISP's fault.
