Hi. do not label me an ass or anything for trying to jailbreak my iphone but it has recently gone out of warranty and i have nothing to lose. I followed the directions on this website:

I got to the part where you enter the command on terminal and all it says it rm= illegal file or something like that. and therefore itunes 7.5 cannot recognize my iphone, and therefor i cannot downgrade from 2.1 to 1.1.4. Any hel would be GREATLY appreciated
 
Your link is broken. No terminal work is necessary to jailbreak anymore. That was over a year ago.

Like ^he said, just use Pwnage.
