Mine does as well. I think that maybe just the way its reported.
I would like some more user input on this.
Does that mean you think it really is playing in 4K even though it says "HD" in the swipe down menu?
Turn ON Fast Start.
That fixed it for me, now it says 4K Dolby Vision.
From the pulled now that I turned Fast Start back to ON.

So weird. I had actually turned Fast Start OFF as a troubleshooting step. Turned it back on and now all of my 4K movies are actually playing in 4K, with the exception of The Lego Movie, which is the movie I watched tonight. Not sure what gives with that one. I only have four or five movies in 4K to begin with, so small sample set, but as of now they're all playing in 4K except that one.
No, Turn OFF Fast Start.
When it’s off I could (could as in maybe a momentary glitch) only get HD.
Not sure what the deal is.
Turn ON Fast Start.

I envy you, sir! Here in the U.S. we have to pay a separate fee to watch Star Trek: Discovery on a service called CBS All Access.
....
It may be different for everyone. For me turning it off fixed everything.
What makes you say Dolby Vision is fake on HD streams? Or do you refer to viewing HD SDR movie in forced HDR mode? However, it seems like on some things the HD Stream is better upscaled with the fake Dolby Vision than the actual 4k/DV Stream. I don't know what's going on with this thing anymore.
