I activated eSim on new iPhone 14 Pro Max, but account still shows iPhone 11 Pro Max. I'm not getting 5G on the new phone and I suspect it is because AT&T is reflecting I still have the old phone. Not sure if that is why, but 5Ge is all that it will connect to. Tried reset network settings and an online "refresh" from AT&T's site. I guess I'll need to visit an AT&T store?

Anybody have this issue?

Are you on an unlimited plan?

I am. My plan shows 5G is on it. Yet only 5Ge will appear.
Okay. Since I like to belabor the obvious:

1) You've confirmed that 5G is available where you are, right? AT&T 5G coverage is pretty spotty.
2) I'm sure you've done this but you've got the correct 5G settings, right?
Settings>Cellular>Cellular Data Options>Voice & Data set to either "5G Auto" or "5G On"

Edit: Actually, you should set this to "5G On" at least for testing purposes.

I'm probably not helping here, but if I can save you a trip to the AT&T store...

You might try downloading a new esim from your account on the AT&T website. Manage your device and select options and settings for your device. Then manage your esim and select get a new esim. Be sure you are on WiFi before doing this

Same issue here.Downloaded new esim didnt help.Time to chat.
ABW did you go to ATT for fix?

Oops just checked and now shows 5g. Odd.
Maybe new esim takes a bit to kick in.
