First of all i am new to this forum as well as the mac.
I must say the mac makes the pc seem old school. I have updated my iPhone to IOS 5 and set up iCloud with my new Macbook. I have photos set up on the iCloud on my mac, do i need to be doing something the same on the iPhone? The photos taken on my phone are not getting to the mac. Am i looking in the rich place for the photos? i have checked I photo and they are not there.
Any help would be great as i am new to Mac. Cheers.

Ok, it's just a couple of things.

1. Make sure that you have the latest updates, specifically iPhoto 9.2 and since you have iOS 5 then you already have the latest iTunes. It really is good practice though to have all the updates. Once you install the updated iPhoto in Preferences you'll have a photo stream selection that you can enable.

2. On the iPhone, in Settings -> iCloud -> Photo Stream make sure it's showing enabled there as well.

In both iPhoto and your photos app on the iPhone you should now see a separate "album" called photo stream. If the photos show there, say, on the phone but are not showing up in iPhoto's photo stream what worked for me was just doing a reboot and everything cycled through.

Hope that helps.
