Not getting some Yahoo Sports notifications

I'm having a weird problem with Yahop Sports and was wondering if anybody else has seen this or had any ideas. I've had the app installed for a while for the widget, but just enabled the notifications a couple weeks ago. I enabled them for the Rio Olympics, the Patriots, and the Red Sox. For some reason most of the notifications for the Sox don't come through - all I get is the three hour warning, even though I have things like inning ends and score changes enabled for notifications within the app as well. I've been getting all the notifications I signed up for from the Patriots and the Olympics, so I thought this was super weird. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times and am still seeing this on both my iPhone 6s and iPad mini 4. Any ideas? Also, I haven't found any way to contact any form of tech support for this app other than posting in their forums, so if you guys have info on that too I'd appreciate it!

They've had some issues since they launched the new updated version of their app not too long ago, but they've mostly ironed them out. I have had the app for a long time mostly for the widget but also have been using notifications as well to some degree. My notifications seem to be coming through fine, but I don't have any set for MLB, in case there might be something with that. There's also a reset option of sorts for the app if you go to its settings in iOS, in case that might be worth a try.

As for support, their online forums seem the the main place for that. There's a way to provide feedback from within the app, but I'm not really sure how well that gets looked at or handled. There's also a way to contact Yahoo! in general on Twitter (via YahooCares I believe), but that's more general and might take a bit to get a reply potentially. I've used the forums before and got a reply and see other threads get replies, so it seems like those work decently well: https://forums.yahoo.net/t5/Sports-apps/bd-p/Fantasy-Sports-App (it has Fantasy in the URL, but the forum is for the regular Sports app as well).

Thanks @C DM! That's all great information and I'll keep that in mind. Ironically, right after you replied my Sox notifications started coming through for last night's game...go figure!! Some of them even came through twice. Next time this happens I'll definitely contact them. Other than the notifications issue I'm liking this app...it's nice to have all my game notifications come from the same place, as opposed to multiple apps for each team, league, etc. The widget is also very helpful.
