Not Receiving iMessages on Mac

Started happening today. iMessage works fine on all my other Apple devices. My phone number is not an option in preferences of Messages app. Please help. Thanks. (I tried signing out and then back in, no change.)

Make sure you have enabled "Text Message Forwarding" on your iPhone for the Mac in question:

On your phone:

Settings > Messages > Text Messages Forwarding and make sure the setting for the new device is set to ON.

Yeah that wasn't the issue.

I fixed the problem. I disabled iMessage on my iPhone and then enabled it. That fixed things.

Hopefully it won't happen again.
