iPhone 14 Pro Max Not so responsive touch screen

The swipe up from the notification count at the bottom of the Lock Screen is very jittery, you guys experience it?

Overall the touch screen not so responsive I feel

When I swipe up to view notifications
 
Ok I have narrowed it down to the Always on display

Seems like it takes a split second more for the display to really come on and register the touch.

Anyone experience this?
