My PC:
AMD Athlon 64 dual-core 3.00ghz
Asus m2n-SLI Motherboard
3GIGs DDR-800 RAM
2x GIGABYTE 8500GT GPUs
Vista Home Premium O/S With the latest iTunes

Ok so basically my iPod refuses to do anything. it all started when i decided to add more songs to my ipod with the "erase and sync" method. i re-did my itunes library, plugged in my ipod and itunes started to copy the songs over, however when it got through about 10 songs itunes froze up and so did the ipod. my pc was very messy and it was due for a reformat so i figured i must be right because i couldn't transfer more than about 10 songs over to my ipod. after reformatting my PC and re-doing my itunes library i tried to fill my ipod again, and shock-horror, the thing froze again. so now i've tried it on 4 computers (all of them froze), tried restoring/reformatting/resetting, and even a virus scan but it told me the ipod was inaccessible. i managed to reformat the ipod twice out of about 15 attempts to do so, i even tried transferring songs over album by album but i still can't put more than about 10 songs on before it freezes. another strange thing is: the ipod says it has 0kb free and 74gb used but there's nothing on it since its been formatted. i am under the unfortunate impression that my ipod is well stuffed, but by posting this thread im holding some hope that i may be able to use it again. the worst part of the whole situation is i've only used the thing for probably 3months in total but im past my warranty... anyway if anyone has had this problem or if anyone knows what is going on or what i can try to fix it i'd be extremely grateful, having music with me at all times is about the only thing keeping me from mass murder, now my ipod isn't working lol
