And from what I hear, iOS 12 will NOT make iPhone X slower, can anyone confirm?

My guess would be that iOS 12 on iPhone Xs would be faster than on iPhone X.

Why wouldnt it be faster.? Its newer hardware on top of iOS 12..

Well I guess the real question is will iOS 12 be faster on iPhone Xs than iPhone X, and if so, will iPhone X be slower on iOS 12 than iOS 11 or at least the same speed of not faster.

Sorry if that’s confusing. I can retype it to make what I’m asking more clear.

Marginally for most tasks you won’t even notice. Most phone will perform about the same in iOS 12 for most tasks. Gone are the days where there was a big increase between generations.

If I remember right there used to be a noticeable difference. I’ve been using iPhone forever lol. All these young people getting their first iPhones have it pretty good!

Many of them won’t even know what a home button is in the coming years.

Unreal.

It will definitely be faster, but will you be able to notice it? Probably not. The X is already fast unless they slow it down.

As others have stated. The X is faster on ios12 than it was on 11. So yeah the Xs will be fine on 12.
