Using WiFi synch, it is not transferring photos taken from my 4S to my Macbook Pro into iPhoto. I tried starting the synch from iTunes and directly on the phone.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I cannot sync photos via iTunes from phone to Mac either. Seems you have to open iPhoto and sync - like a camera. No wireless option.

Photostream only syncs newly taken photos. If you want to backup old photos just plug in your phone and turn on iPhoto, it will treat your phone like a camera and give you the import dialogue.

iphoto doesn't do wireless sync. You need to plug in the phone for iPhoto to see it and import the photos from the phone.
