Are we assuming the update isn't coming today, then?

Damn.

Steve.

Watch the take 2 thread, it may be coming as the "Coming Soon" is no longer on Apple's site.

Other fourms are now saying Feb 26th for the Take 2.

Not sure if this is legit or just a kid trying to make it look like its gonna take longer...

Hope not!!

I hope it isn't as long as that - Apple set the expectations of 2 weeks during MWSF and then said "a week or two" after that fortnight had expired. To push it out another fortnight would make it look like they don't know what they're doing!

Good old Apple.

Steve

Awesome - I'll be home in a few hours (you guys beat the other thread!).

I'm eager to see if I guessed right on my encoding. :)

This 2 weeks thing reminds me of that movie "The Money Pit" after those guys tore up his home and yard. Tom Hanks asked the main guy how long it would take and he replied "two weeks." This is the guys response every time Tom Hanks asks how long it will take. That movie was hilarious.

I'd be willing to bet there is no way we'll see the update today. Apple wants all news focused on the release of Aperture 2.0, regardless of how small they made the announcement. The release of Take 2 would over shadow other news, especially the release of Aperture 2.0, and they want to get the most bang that they can.

Have you seen any of the other threads? The update is now live...

Kevin
