Ok I know this has been explained to me and I feel like an absolute blonde that I dont understand this. Over here the rebate is still going because its back to school. I rang apple and they told me I buy the MB+Ipod so that would take me up to 2400 since the computer is 2000. But if they give me a rebate wont I have just bought a nano and be at square 1?

Man, I don't understand what you're trying to say, but a rebate isn't something that apple gives you immediately. You have to buy both the Macbook and the Nano at full price, then send in the bar codes from the receipt.

Then you get a nice cheque in the mail for $200.

The average percent of people who actually fill out rebate forms for over $200 is only 30%. Good old business statistic for you. (North America only)

Holy cow! I've done $5 and $15 rebates before, so that's just insane! Send them my way if you don't feel like doing them:rolleyes:
