I'm still on High Sierra though I have been thinking about going to Mojave. Yesterday we were warned not to upgrade to Catalina because our Enterprise security software won't work with it. This morning, I received a notice on one of my trading tools stating that their tool doesn't work on Catalina. That combined with potential issues with Notes and Reminders has me taking my time, as in about six months, on Catalina.

Everything is ticking along nicely for me with Mojave. I see no reason to upgrade mine just yet either.
I always tend to upgrade yearly straight away - this year Im going to wait a few months at least.....

Thanks for the note on Mojave - it makes me feel better on upgrading. I just need to set aside enough time to do it. I was thinking about doing a clean installs instead of upgrades. I like to do that for every other upgrade to clean out old junk.

I've upgraded my laptop, which I use less than my iMac at home. So far it's "mostly" okay, but still has some glitches, like for example Settings saying my Apple ID settings need to be updated and then the update not working when I enter my password, even though things seem to be working right.

There's no real reason to upgrade from Mojave yet; I doubt new software will start requiring it for quite some time. We still have users at work who are perfectly happy on High Sierra!

I'm running HS on three systems. Two are persona but I use them for work, and the other is work-issued. I don't want to fall too far behind as some of the things that we use drop support for older versions. I think that a lot of people here are still on HS though.

You made a good choice. I upgraded because I’m stupid. Catalina was not ready for public release. I spent 3-4 hours last night trying to work around all the bugs I came across.

I have a considerable amount of 32 bit software that I use daily.
I will not be "upgrading" beyond Mojave (as the "main OS" for my 2018 Mini) in the near future.
Possibly not AT ALL.

I will (however) keep a copy of Catalina on an EXTERNAL "experimental" drive to peek at "the latest and greatest" now and then.

But for daily use?
No thanks.

Catalina is sounding like iOS 13. I like some of the new features but I hope that they fix a lot of the bugs soon.

Yeah, gone are the days of Spaceward Ho! and other great games. Not even PS 1.0 from my Mac Plus will run on this bloatware.

I'm on Mojave for my iMac, and it's reliable and stable. I don't usually install a new OS until the second point release.

I have Catalina installed on my Mac Pro that is basically just used for data storage and have run into so many small issues that are driving my nuts, particularly with iDevice syncing and photo imports. I’m leaving my MBP on Mojave until things get ironed out but I’m glad to have a unit I can test with.
