Just don’t use the screen area to the left and right of the notch then you have a bezel. I believe there’s a way to do this or at least someone should make a way.Both are equally terrible. Just give us a bezel.
A big difference here is that the windows toolbar is not nearly as useful as the macOS one. MacOS is much more strealined in this regard. It’s nice that almost every app on macOS uses the same shortcutsNotch works for Mac because it covers an area normally empty in the menu bar. Won’t work as well on Windows because the toolbar is normally at the bottom. So hump works better here. Both a good solution fitting their respective platforms.
