I have a couple of questions, I will be doing some digging by myself but maybe I could get quicker answers here in the meantime.
Camera questions:
1. Is the Note 4 capable of 240fps slow motion recording? If not, is it possible it could get it through a software update?
2. Does the camera have a feature like the focus pixels on the iPhone which allows it to auto focus super fast between objects and depths? I've seen video samples of this on the iPhone 6 and it's truly an amazing feature and works really well.
3. Is the camera lens on the Note 4 made out of sapphire glass?
Screen questions:
4. Since Samsung decided to go with the (in my opinion unnecessary) screen resolution of QHD.. how will this affect performance and battery life? I owned the Tab S and Tab Pro (the 8.4" models), both with QHD screens and there were some slight stuttering when playing games like Asphalt, watching 1080p movies, browsing through the menus and surfing the web.. the battery life on both devices were laughable, I returned both tablets for that reason alone.
5. Are the white colors of the screen accurate white this time around? Is it comparable to the white of LCD screens? Supposedly the Note 4 has screen accurate colors according to some reviews. But I have a hard time believing an AMOLED screen displaying accurate white colors, I have not seen one so far (I've tried and owned many many AMOLED devices).
They ALL have a slight tint of either pink, yellow, green and blue that also changes depending on the viewing angle. I know the degree of this issue is different depending on the model and from my own experience, even from screen to screen on the same model! I'm a bit skeptical about the reviews.. I remember one of them mentioning how great and accurate the colors on the Tab S was (in a Note 4 review) and I couldn't disagree more, the whites on that tablet was awful. Even went through forums reading people with the same issue and checked several stores carrying the tablet and found the issue on all of them..
By the way, the white color issue on AMOLED screens is the only downside in my opinion, and the mura effect to some extent which seems to have improved over the years. All other aspects of the screen is so much better than LCD screens.
