My notes app requests my password every time I try to read, delete, or edit a note on my Mac. Every flippin' time. It's really getting old. No other apps do this, not iMessage or Mail or anything else. It's just the Notes app.

Any ideas about how to fix this?

Did you try de-selecting (or selecting) within the system preferences, specifically the icloud preference pane?.

Perhaps a corrupted plist that needs to be removed, but not knowing which one specifically I'm hesitant to say go and delete it.

Thanks for the reply, maflynn. The Notes app is selected, and if I deselect it, I get a message that accepting the change will erase all of my notes from my Mac. Any other ideas?
