Universal Notes app isn't syncing/updating

Hi, how do I force the macOS Notes app to update/sync??

Notes on macOS haven't updated or synced since April, but iPhone Notes that I edit/change are always up-to-date.

Any chance my iPhone Notes are going to downgrade to the April version?

Hi, I have the same issue with the Mac-version of the Notes app.
It's very frustrating and as far as I know there is no button to force-sync it with the other devices (that do sync properly).
What I do as a workaround, is to fully close the Notes app by right-clicking the app-icon in the dock, and selecting 'Quit'. When the black dot has disappeared, you can reopen the app and then it will actually sync again.
I am on a more recent OS version but hope this helps for you as well!
