Up until recently the Notes app was taking up about 70MB of storage, I had 7 notes (all text, no photos) in total. Suddenly its size shot up to almost 1GB!!
Over the weekend, I printed all my notes then deleted every single note, then deleted the Notes app. I also signed out of iCloud and signed in again, re-downloaded the notes app, then opened the app on all my Apple devices (two Macs, iPad, iPhone, iPod), I had no notes on any device, however on my iPhone 6, in Phone Storage it shows the app size at 950MB!!!
Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this & how to remedy it?
Thanks for the help.
edit: spoke to Apple Support a little earlier, sent them screenshots etc, the only solution they could suggest was to set up the phone as new in order to clear bad cached files as they said. The only problem is that i've already done that without result...
