Does anyone know of a good Notes (or list) App where it puts Badges on the App Icon when its closed to show how many notes (or lists) you have? I've seen shopping list apps do this just never seen any Notes/List ones. I love this because it catches my attention and I go into the App to see what notes are left. Thanks everyone!

(Incase nobody knows what badges are, they are the little red numbers in the top right corner of the Mail, SMS, App Store and Phone App to let you know of any missed calls, texts, e-mails or updates to any Apps.) :)

That sounds more like a task management app than a notes app as in a notes app you would want to keep the notes not mark them as complete and/or delete them. For that a simple/free solution is Erica Sadun's To Do.

Badges are really supposed to be notifications as opposed to general counters.

That's why there's no application like this.

Mail's badge dictates how many unread messages...not total messages.
IM applications say how many unread messages...not total messages.
SMS says how many unread messages...not total messages.

So for notes, it'd technically be unfinished notes...in which case a task management application should suffice.
