Notes Gone?

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I open my notes and they immediately closed or crashed. I tried to reopen it and it immediately closed again. So I double tap the home key closed everything then turn the phone off and restarted it. I then tried to open notes again it finally stayed open but everything was gone. It's been 24 hours and nothing has came back. I had a lot of important notes in there. Nothing synced to email. I don't have an iPad or a laptop. I have iPhone 6s and my software is up to date. Can someone please help me?!

Are your notes stored entirely on your phone, or do you use iCloud? If you do use iCloud for notes, you could log in from any Mac/PC from a web browser.

Also, have you backed up your iPhone lately (or ever)? Notes are backed up whether you use iTunes or iCloud for backups.
