This is really F'd up. My notes sync on my iPhone & Laptop sync fine. On my wife iPhone & laptop, she has access to my Notes, but they aren't syncing correctly. I tried signing out, and signing back in, but they're not syncing.

The weird thing is, she can create a note on my account, and it will sync with her iPhone & Laptop, but they will not show up for me.

It's like Apple split my notes into 2 separate accounts somehow.

Also, the same is happening vice versa with her Notes. They don't sync on my devices.

Have you updated both accounts and all Macs/iDevices to the 'new' iCloud Notes? Notes predates iCloud and was done over IMAP. Apple finely 'overhauled' Notes for iOS 9/10.11 so it woks the same as all other iCloud info.

I did update to the new iCloud notes. My wife changed her iCloud password recently. I think something is corrupt with the keychain and it's not syncing correctly. I deleted her iCloud account and re-signed in, and it seemed to fix the keychain problems, but our Notes are still not syncing.

I too have the exact same problem. I called apple and they at first acknowledged it was an issue. When they escalated the case the tech had to tell me that my issue was "Expected Behavior". This unexpected behavior was a consequence of the changes that were made to Notes. Everything worked normally before they "fixed" notes. This loss of synchronization is unacceptable and needs to be fixed. My wife and I used to create shopping lists that we both added items to. Now that doesn't work and we each have only part of our lists. Calendar and Reminders allow a share "Family" account that keeps things synchronized. If they did the same for Notes it would provide a workable solution when shared notes are needed. Has anyone found an alternative Notes App that allows for group synchronization? Apple deserves a big BAD APPLE for this.
