Notes Search in new iOS 9

Sucks!
So, the new upgrade to iOS9 has taken away the functionality of the Search bar in Notes!
Type in key word to search and you have to scroll through everything to find what you are looking forward poor design. Typical built in obsolescence...

I have been having issues with notes ever since the update. I'm not getting the new features that came with the update!!

Have you upgraded - when you first open it gives you the option to upgrade to new "notes" app. For me I have declined because I am not running El Capitan and want to sync them between iCloud.

I did not see that option. When I updated to iOS 9 I was in a hotel using their slow wifi that they offer.
