Notes taking up too much space

Searched the topic and found a nos of discussion, no clear answer yet.

my case is, around 20!nos of notes, 90% of them are pure short text.

in setting / storage, document and data unde Notes occupied over 330M.

it doesn’t make sense.

Moving the notes to iCloud nor delete any of them could not reclaim the space.

Any idea? Ways to resolve?

Something is not right there. Do you have any notes folders or any pictures in notes?

Is notes syncing notes from other email accounts potentially?

I have a crazy amount of notes and I’ve only got 14mb used.

yea, I did have a few folder.

I have 19 nos of note, only one included a small pic while another one included a pdf.

Attached the screenshots of folders and the space taken.

I did not sync notes with any email acct.
