How many years ago?
Apple blocks all 3rd party sync programs with every update and only itunes can sync content into the iphone.
That's been known forever.
Its not android or windows mobile. Every major thing is done via itunes or icloud with iphones.

nothing but itunes will read iphone 5

its literally been at most 3 months since i used mediamonkey to sync media on my phone, mediamonkey has been my go to program for that for 2 solid years give or take

im not a huge fan of sacrificing human-child-goat hybrids during the blue moon while choking on virgin blood and shrieking sieg heil mac daddy into the vatican every time i feel like syncing but i guess now i have to

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. What is the issue with importing all your music files into iTunes? If you are so opposed to using iTunes then it is time for you to move to another platform...Android? There are plenty of decent Android handsets now.
