Before updating to iOS 17 my iPhone 12 Pro battery health/capacity is and still remains at 86%
But since updating the phone to iOS 17 I'm noticing the battery is holding a charge for longer than when on iOS 16.
I am not using the phone any differently from how I used it before nor have I made adjustments in settings.

Is anyone else noticing similar?

I updated my device on the launch date (Sept 18th) and have since updated it to 17.0.1

Can only speak about the devices I own, but my iPhone (a non-pro 13) and both my iPads (6th and 9th gen) appear to also have a better battery life than on iOS 16.
Speed wise they all seem as snappy as before. It appears iOS 17 is a solid update.

I can say the opposite for 12 mini. Had 15.7.1 before, and now i’m on 17.0.1 and it’s noticeably worse, and health is same as on 15, 85%.

I think people are noticing improvements from iOS 16 as it was bad. But possibly iOS 15 was better on battery life than both of those future versions? I’m on iOS 15 myself on my 12 Pro and I am in two minds about updating or not.

A good question. Did you stay on iOS 15 or did you upgrade?
