Noticed my mac pro's cd drive cover doesn't close

Hey guys...it appears that when I open my cd drive and close it...the lid doesn't close, but it gets stuck. How do I go about this? Get a new drive or something?

Knock it with your finger few times under the cover, it should close.
You will notice eventually, if you use it few times a week, that it will begin to close again on its own (hopefully).

Btw, it has nothing to do with drive itself.

Mine does that, too. Gets worse in winter or cold weather. I just give a quick tap on the little tabs at the bottom of the drive--sometimes I tap harder several times--and after a couple of those the door pops back shut.
