Hey, all!
Over the last few months I keep getting these popups on my iPhone (iPhone 12). They normally hit when I am out and about and, more often than not, when Waze is up (music and others may also be running). But the popups don't really relate to Waze, afaik. Any help on a fix for an annoyance? They all seem be server related. Frankly, I'm stumped. They normally come one behind the other 3 or 4 when it happens.

I don't know what's happening for you but I get those messages for every email, calendar and contact account I have on my iPhone when I'm flying Southwest Airlines and connected to their free, in-flight wifi.

What I assume is happening is, because the free wifi isn't connected to the internet for anything other than Messages and WhatsApp, that since my iPhone is connected to "wifi", everything is trying to connect…but can't.

So…for whatever reason…I would assume that the services associated with the servers aren't connecting properly.

Back in the day I had a jailbreak tweak that could automatically dismiss those annoying popups.

Happens all the time but when I'm on the road is the norm. Not even in the same areas.

Does Waze have ads? I'm really not familiar with the app. But to me, based on the errors, it looks like a certificate problem. Probably something is trying to access these websites using an invalid (out of date) SSL certificate.

This happens when you've either got some dodgy DNS/VPN entry or you've connected to a network which requires you to log in (or click "ok" or whatever) before you can use it.

Open Safari, go to any web page, and it should redirect to whatever page it's wanting you to confirm/login to. Then you should be ok.

Of course, this assumes you're on a network which allows general internet access. So not Southwest Airlines :)

No ads in Waze. I do think it's a certificate issue, though, of some sort.

Only happens on cellular, though. Ugh...I dunno!
