Notification bubble above Settings menu. What is it trying to tell me?

Hi,

I've just got my new 4s. Its amazing. But there is a notification bubble sitting on the 'Settings' menu with the number (1), and I can't get rid of it/don't know what it is trying to notify me about?!

Has anyone else come across this problem?

Any thoughts would be most appreciated!

It's probably for the 5.0.1 update that was just recently released.

Click Settings->General->Software update

Once you've updated, the badge will clear.

Sounds like you have an update to install. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check.

EDIT: Guess I was a little too slow on this one.

I've just checked and its not the software update... I'm on 5.0.1

Maybe it's stuck? Restart.

That was going to be my suggestion as well.

If it really bugs you try backing it up and restoring but it isn't really necessary for just a notification.
