iPhone Notification center not pulling down after setting up custom gestures via activator

I set up activator to "pull up from screen bottom" to open the app switcher. After doing this, the notification center wouldn't pull down intermittently. I erased that particular gesture through activator and now the pull down on the status bar works fine. Anyone else ever have a problem like this?
