You aren't suposed to see the notification center on the lock screen. It's only viewable when the phone is unlocked. You will however get notifications on the lock screen if they come in while the phone is locked.

Same issue on my ip4 as well. Works fine on my wifes ip4. Yes, you should be able to swipe down from the top of the screen on the lockscreen and view the Notification Center.

No, you are not. The notification center is not available on the lock screen.

That's not what i'm reading.

Notification Center
All your alerts. All in one place.

You get all kinds of notifications on your iOS device: new email, texts, friend requests, and more. With Notification Center, you can keep track of them all in one convenient location. Just swipe down from the top of any screen to enter Notification Center. Choose which notifications you want to see. Even see a stock ticker and the current weather. New notifications appear briefly at the top of your screen, without interrupting what you’re doing. And the Lock screen displays notifications so you can act on them with just a swipe. Notification Center is the best way to stay on top of your life’s breaking news.

Those are notifications! You get notifications on the lockscreen, but not the notification center. The notification center is the thing you pull down from the home screen with the weather widget. It is not available on the lock screen.

Got ya, thx. My mistake. Would be nice to have it pull down from the lockscreen like Intelliscreen does. Looks like i'll have to JB afterall. :(

As others have correctly pointed out, the only way to get to the notification center is by swiping down while the phone is unlocked.

The only notifications shown on the lock screen are those which have come in since you last locked the phone. You can swipe these to the right to go directly to the relevant app. Not a bug, this is how it was designed to work.

A poor design decision imo. Why can I not see tody's calendar on my lock screen? Every other phone in existence can do this.

I don't know about every other phone but yes, calenders should show up on the lockscreen (with the option to set how many days ahead of events we want to see). Very poor design by apple.

Jailbreak and use Intelliscreen. (when the untethered JB is available)

Thanks for the clarification, i guess it didn't help that others posting in their threads referring to it as notification center on the lock screen! just frustrated me more!
