Hi, my understanding is that the notification center only shows timed reminders and all calendar events in the next 24 hours. My hope is that there are hidden options to change that!? I would like to see all my reminders (up to the number set in preferences) and I would like to see the calendar events for the next five days or so. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'd really like this too. Someone will find a terminal command, please! I would also like to see reminders in notification center that have no date set!

Not optimal, but third party apps should be able to do this, right? I any case, I sent an email to these people http://www.dueapp.com/ and will report back.

Still hoping for a terminal command...

And the answer is: No, Due can't do that. Still don't see why it shouldn't be possible...

Agreed . . .

Just want to cheer on the terminal-geniuses out there, or add another voice to the chorus so that Apple may implement these kind of options natively--seems silly not to have done it already, but perhaps it's just a matter of underestimating the user base?

I'll second the showing more than 24 hours. I can't figure out why they allow one to show 20 future events but limit it to 24 hours. Can someone really be busy enough to have 20 events in a 24 hour period? I probably average 2-4 in a day so displaying the next 5 or 10 is perfect however, all I can see is tomorrow.

What app are you talking about that has this setting you're describing?

1. The person you're asking that question is banned.

2. This thread is a year old. Maybe a new thread would work better?

And I think he just meant to set alerts on your calendar events to show up 5 days before they happen. Not an app. He never even mentioned an app.

Everyone always says, "don't start a new thread, just search". So I did. So here we are.

I meant what native app... Settings? Calendar?

Calendar. When you right click and Get Info on an event in your calendar it lets you pick days before, then you can type in the number of them. It looks like you can set it to however many you want.

Re-reading this thread again, I'm not sure if it actually shows up in notifications that early, but you can try it and find out. I don't see why it wouldn't.
