Hello Everyone,

I recently upgraded Yosemite when I was on vacation (in another city, we will call this City#1), and now that I am back in my home city...I don't see a way to update the weather widget to default to my home city (City#2).

I can add City#2 in ADDITION to City#1, but I don't see how to remove City#1 specifically. I've tried to remove the widget and re-add it, but it still lists City#1 which is incorrect.

Can anyone assist me on removing or updating this? Thanks.

Try going to system preferences >security and privacy >privacy tab and uncheck the weather option for location services and that should allow you to input just your own address for weather. Hopefully that will fix you up.

location update

Hi,

i have similar issues with the weather widget, the location does not get updated even if location services are on for weather.
the only way to force the update is to turn locations services off, then on.

Any idea?

Turn the location services off and then on to fix the issue.

I did that (turning off and on), but it works only once.

Thanks anyway...

Anyone find a fix for this, or is it a bug affecting only some systems?

My weather widget also does not automatically switch to a new location unless i turn off location services then turn it back on.
