just installed DP4. the trackpad gesture for showing the notification centre doesn't appear to be workin for me (i have it enabled). two finger swipe from the left to the right apparently, but nothing.

all other gestures works (late 2011 MBP).

is it working for others?

Notification Center is invoked by swiping from the right edge of the trackpad towards the left. You have to start very close to the edge of the trackpad, and you must swipe to the left.

yeah i meant right to left (typed it backwards in the OP).
jeez you're right you need to be almost off the trackpad to get it to activate!

I'm guessing this is also to distinguish between notification centre swipes and browser back/forward swipes.

OH!

They need to clarify the explanation in the preference pane.

Swipe left from the right edge of the trackpad with two fingers

Would be a lot clearer. I had assumed they meant the cursor needed to be at the right edge of the screen for it to work.

Yes, I think so. It'll probably be a lot clearer once the video is there, but right now, the text alone is ambiguous. (I'm not the only one who has the "Reveal Desktop" video play when they mouse over it, right? I assume a "Reveal Notification Center" video hasn't yet been made and will be included once it is... or possibly they're still debating which gesture to use for it.)
