Notification Centre with Magic Trackpad

Can anyone confirm how they get on accessing Notification Centre using the Magic Trackpad?

I understand the gesture only works if your two fingers appear across right side at the same time - hence why the gesture video shows someone placing their fingers on the side of the MacBook's trackpad before sliding them over.

How would this work on the Magic Trackpad?

Its a two finger swipe from the left. Your fingers have to start the gesture pretty far over to the right of the trackpad though.

Is it quite consistent in picking up that gesture on the Magic Trackpad?

You'll get used to doing the gesture rather quickly.
