Notification Sounds

Is there a way to change or adjust the notification sounds for the various apps? The yahoo messenger app has to be the loudest most annoying sound i have ever heard in my life. I still want a sound to play but i just dont want that particular sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the app supports it yes. But only if the app supports it. Check the Settings app and see if the app has settings inside the app. Not sure about Yahoo Messenger whether it has an option to change this stuff.

You can change the sounds if you are jailbroken.
