Hi Guys

Hopefully someone can help, it would be much appreciated.

I have 2 Problems.

Notifications:

4 days ago my phone ran out of battery,
when I booted it up again, all my notifications setting was gone.
I opened an app and had to set it up again.
Now even thought notifications are turned on they are not coming through.

ie. Nothing on FB, or FB messenger, when messages arrive, Uber not notifying me driver is here etc.

Then on whats app, I cant backup my chats. It says make sure you are signed into icloud, and backup is turned on in Icloud drive, and it is.

Tried rebooting, switching setting on and off, and its not working.

Any insight?

Thanks so Much

If you haven't yet, try recovery mode. Notice it says by choosing the update option, iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without erasing your data. If that doesn't work, you might have to go to the restore option, from a back up or as new.
If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up

You might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time during start up. Try these steps:

  1. Connect your device to a computer and open iTunes. If you don't have a computer, you can borrow one, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.
  2. While your device is connected, force it to restart. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep holding until you see the Recovery mode screen.

  3. When you get the option to restore or update, choose Update. iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

iTunes will download the software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode and you'll need to repeat steps 2 and 3 again.

You might want to try resetting all settings or perhaps reinstalling completely if the settings reset doesn't do the trick.
Hi Again

So updated to IOS 10, and did the reset all setting.
Nothing has changed.
My alarm also does not go off, at all, no sounds or popup or anything.
