iPhone Notifications bug?

Running ios 13.1.1 on iphone 11 pro. I searched but didnt find anyone commenting on this. Wanted to know if its just me or maybe I'm too finicky. Notifications show up and the content is "late"-- for example, when someone texts me, the notification will pop up with the name of the person texting me and below, where the content should be, it will show "iMessage" in place of the content preview. The same happens for other notifications-- for example, yahoo fantasy football notifications will pop up with the content preview blank, only showing up several seconds later instead of immediately.

Hope my explanation is clear and wondering if this is happening to anyone else.

I think that's just Face ID unlocking and then showing the preview. This setting can be changed in Settings > Notifications > Show Previews.
