Notifications - Can't Delete

Sage, Lightning, and Mountains
Have run into an issue.
iPhone 6S Plus 64GB AT&T 9.0.1
I went into Notifications and decided to clear out my old email / gmail / and other Notification alerts.
I can delete the first group of items (email) but every other item after this I'll click on the "X", the "Clear" option shows up and when selected does nothing.
Nada.
Zip.

Any ideas?
