I'm struggling to achieve what I want for notifications for Messages for my watch. Here are my current iPhone (18.0.1) settings for Messages notifications:

I'm OK w/ how my phone is working for notifications. When I get Message, I want my watch to:
  1. Vibrate
  2. Only show something on the screen when I tap the face
  3. Do not show any information about the Message (no sender or preview), only that there is a Message
Thanks!

Those Watch settings will be in the Watch app, under "Notifications"
"Show notifications on wrist down" should be off, and
"Tap to show full notification" should be on, and
under Messages in Watch app, select "Custom" then "Sound" should be switch off.

I don't believe there's a way to not show only Messages notifications when you tap, but you can turn off the always on display and turn off under "Display and Brightness", "Wake on Wrist Raise" to make it only activate the screen when you tap it always.
