Notifications Question

So, I don't have the Facebook app in my notification center; it appears under "Not in Notification Center". I just got a notification on my lock screen from Facebook. So, I looked in the app-specific notification settings and see what I attached. Does having Notification Center set to off only affect it appear in your notification list? I assumed that turned them off altogether, although I suppose it makes sense; the badge stays (which is fine). Can anybody explain this a little bit more?

I think you're right -- the notification center setting only applies to whether it appears in the page of notifications you get when you swipe the status bar down.

Pretty sure to only see the badges you have to turn off "view in lock screen"
