Hi everyone,

I have an iPhone 12 (with the latest iOS) and, since recently, notifications are all silent on it. I still see them if I wake the phone's screen, but they no longer make any sound and they don't show up on my Apple Watch. Yet, my phone is not on silent mode and the volume is up. In the settings, notifications are also not set to silent.

I tried restarting my phone and watch, but that didn't fix it.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

now i see it

Yes something strange is going on because my iPhone 8 on iOS 14 fails to chime new iMessages sometimes - and also fails to apply a red dot on the Messages app when a new message arrives.
It doesn’t happen all the time , just occasionally
