Hi all,
I am not sure if this is really an issue or not...but I am pretty sure in the past that I would hear alert "dings" from apps like CNBC, AP mobile, etc. even with my Smart Cover on.

I just migrated to iOS5 with my iPad2 and now it seems like all of my notifications are piling up and when I open my Smart Cover, they all come through at the same time? Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way for me to test whether my notifications are working properly? Is there something with the Smart Cover that would cut off notifications from coming through real time?

I have an Ipad 2 and a smartcover. I know for a fact that you always get notification noises, even with smartcover closed prior to IOS5. I know this because at work I would have to use the mute switch to keep it from making the noises at my desk.

I guess I will have to do more testing on it then...but it doesn't seem like I am getting the alert "dings" real time that I used to get before migration to iOS 5. It's like something gets activated when I open the Smart Cover and they all pour in at the same time.
