Hi,

iPhone 6 with iOS 9.3, and WatchOS 2.2. Just noticed today and yesterday that, sometimes, some notifications are not erased from the iPhone notification center when I dismiss them from the Apple Watch. Before, notifications always disappeared from the iPhone when I cleared them directly from the Apple Watch, so I believe it's related to either iOS 9.3 or watchOS 2.2. I noticed this behavior with third-party app notifications, not sure about Messages, Mail, etc.

Already tried to unpair and pair Apple Watch again, without success. Am I the only one to see this behavior?

I've been noticing similar behavior myself. I'm also noticing them not clearing from my iPad either like they used to.

Same here, tried repairing and restoring both devices as new, made no difference.

Thanks guys, glad I am not the only one. I had no problems with iOS 9.3 betas, so I believe that watchOS 2.2 is the problem. I think I am going to restore the watch on watchOS 2.1 to test this hypothesis...

I would agree with your assessment, I started noticing the problem after the 9.3 beta 4 where notifications got completely broken unless you had watch 2.2. I went ahead and took the plunge and got them working again, but this problem has been there since then.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe there is any way to restore the watchOS without Apple involvement.

When you unpair and pair it again, you have the choice to use a backup of your watch (stored on your iPhone) rather than setting your watch as a new device. I had the choice of a backup with 2.2 or 2.1 (from March 24th).

Just restored on 2.1, now waiting for few notifications to see if the problem is solved or not. I will keep you informed probably tomorrow after few notifications.
[doublepost=1458941136][/doublepost]Double post, sorry.

Hum, just dismissed my first notification with the "clear all" feature of the Apple Watch, and the notification was still present on the iPhone. So, the problem is probably not from watchOS but rather from iOS 9.3, which is quite surprising after 6 betas...

Also, again not 100% sure but I think that, before, when both iPhone and Watch were in "do not disturb" mode, the red "notification" dot was still showing on the Watch right after the "do not disturb" symbol (the blue moon).

Now, the red dot is not showing anymore, and the notifications are not even listed on the Watch, even if you get notifications on your phone. Not sure if it's a bug or just a change that Apple made...

..I've also been getting this issue. Its not happening for all notifications but just a random few every so often. Again, before the recent updates to the Watch OS and iOS, none of these issues were present.
