I'm going from a Samsung S8 to an iPhone X on friday and I read on another site that the Mail-app in iOs 11 doesn't support notifications from other folders than the Inbox when syncing via Exchange.

On my Samsung I have six folders which it checks and sends notifications if I recieve mail in any of those chosen folders and this will be a real pain if the iPhone doesn't support the same set-up.

So can anyone with an iPhone on iOs 11 who uses Exchange with the built-in Mail-app confirm if this is the case or if you can sync and get notifications from multiple sub-folders?

Only the built-in Mail-app on the phone is allowed to connect to the company Exchange server so suggestions about using other Mail apps to achieve this will unfortunately not be helpful.

I use a company phone with IOS 11 and the stock mail app with exchange and sub folder notifications work fine. I also use a personal phone with office 365 exchange and sub notifications work fine for sub folders there too.

Since iOS 11, Apple has disabled scheduled fetch and notifications for favorited folders and sub folders for non-push IMAP mail accounts in the native mail app of iOS.
This fetch used to happen in iOS 10.3.3 without any problem.
