Iphone 8+, notifications do not work on all apps, sound turned on etc but can not choose a sound and no sound name is showing. Facetime and Messages work ok. Mail (Outlook) only vibrates.

Try going to Settings -> Notifications and make sure notifications are turned on for specific apps.
